Hailed for his technical brilliance, expressive depth, and rare artistic maturity, pianist Angel Stanislav Wang has emerged as one of the most compelling young voices in classical music today. At just 23, he has already won over 35 international awards, including the Silver Medal at the 17th International Tchaikovsky Competition, First Prize at the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition, and recognition as the youngest finalist at the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

Wang has captivated audiences at some of the world's most storied stages, among them Carnegie Hall, Vienna's Musikverein, the Mariinsky Theatre, and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Recent highlights include a sold-out performance of the Britten Piano Concerto with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Grieg Concerto with the Russian National Orchestra, and appearances with the Fort Worth Symphony, Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería, and Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

Critics have praised his uncommon touch and control: The Boston Musical Intelligencer likened his artistry to that of Curzon and Lupu, noting his gift for making "silences sing," while Gramophone has celebrated his imaginative tonal palette and commanding stage presence.

Born in Los Angeles in 2003, Wang began his piano studies at age five under his mother's guidance. He is currently completing his degree at the Moscow Conservatory with Professor Natalia Trull, and this fall begins an Artist Diploma at the Juilliard School under Emanuel Ax and Yoheved Kaplinsky. Angel Stanislav Wang is a Steinway Artist.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear one of today's most exciting young pianists live.
